    Not what you think... See the ELG under the tubes.

    Assuming I'm correct, then a Belgian trade gun. Inexpensive in it's day and less so today unless a small bore. Even in nice mantle-queen condition these guns seldom retail for over $200.00. Oft times much less.

    You evidently have a SPENCER GUN COMPANY SxS made by Crescent for Hibbard & Spencer Bartlett, c. 1900...
    Shotgun, Double Barrel...Various Gauges, Steel or Damascus Barrels. Both Hammerless and Outside Hammers offered..Depending upon just which Gun You own.....and Condition of same....Value could/will run from $175.00 to $300.00....for a Shooter.......Best....

    I asked this same question a several months ago. Got the same answer. Found a guy that had a Crescent form the same period and guess what? Identical!
    Mine is real nice so I decided to keep it. If it needed any work I wouldn't have. A piece of wood for these puppies cost almost as much as the gun is worth. I've been looking for a nice stock for a buddies 12 ga, last nice one one Ebay was $100 and that is just to get the next bid, no telling how hi the other guy was willing to go. Higher then me, that is for sure.
