    If you take the stock off there should be barrel maker stamps on the bottom of the barrel near the reciever that I doubt would be ground off, if it is German. I am guessing Czech as well, though it could be just about anything, but ground...

    are you saying that the crest on the reciever was removed?
    Why would there be no easily seen on this rifle. i will get more pics

    Looks like a LaCoruna, (Spain)the wood and the finish do not look like German or Yugo

    I concur with the Vz24. Rear sight slide and upper wood are a dead match. I've also seen a number of scrubbed receiver Vz24's

    It could be a VZ-24 that got scrubbed after capture. Take it completely apart and look for any marks on the underside and in the wood. If you see anything that way it will tell you more. However, if you are looking for value it will mostly be gone since the crest and/or any easily identifying marks are scrubbed.
