1911A1 Barrels Colt HS F
Given all three new 1945 barrels marked 45 Colt Auto, HS, F, which ones would be more valuable?

Hello the one that is correct for the gun it is going to be used in . In other words a VERY eary 1911 type barrel in a WW2 gun would be a waste FIND out what barrel should be in the pistol by Make and serial # quote:"PRAISE THE HARDBALL GUN" 0 -
You need to give us the exact markings on each barrel, & you need to give us all markings on each barrel. And, you need to tell us where the markings are on each barrel. We also need to know the color of the barrels.

The barrel marked "45 Colt Auto" was made by Colt. It also should have a "P" or a "P" and "C in a square" on the link flange.
The "HS" was made during WWII by High Standard and was used on Remington-Rand, Ithaca, and U.S. Switch & Signal guns.
The "F" was also made during WWII by Flannery Bolt and was used by Remington-Rand, Ithaca, and for field replacements.0
