Best foam for gun cases

I am looking to buy new cases for my rifles and pistols. I want to get the ones that have the lining you can carve out the shape of the gun in for a tight fit. I can't tell which cases can do this. It looks like the standard cheapo cases stick with egg create. Is EVA foam the stuff I should be looking for? Anybody know a good place that specializes in cases like this? Thanks.

    The foam can hold moisture against the rifle, so be sure to line with cloth. I use the egg crate type with a bore store over the rifle.

    I never store a firearm in any case for any extended length of time. I do however, keep them stored in my safe with bore stores. These are supposedly treated with silicone to keep the firearm from rusting. I have been using them for several years now and have not had a problem as "yet". When I am traveling with a firearm in a case I use several different brands but I still leave the firearm in a bore store. I even ship firearms to gunsmiths to be repaired or customized in this manner. AS for sources for gun cases, try Cabela's, Midway, Wal-Mart, local gun shop, etc. Jim
