Weaver K3 scope

When did Weaver start and stop making the K3? Any opinions on this scope?

  The scope your talking about is still on Weaver's web site. I think they still make it. Would be a great scope on a carbine style gun.

  They currently make a 1-3X scope but not a fixed power 3X.

  The K3 was built between 1958 and 1984 with a Wide Angle version built between 1973 and 1984. Current value runs between about $40 and $85 with a small premium for the Wide Angle ($10-$15).

  I have two that I bought used(well used) they are great scopes for the used price $30-40 . These aren't as clear as modern scopes but they are well made. I had one of them on a 30-06 for twenty years and it held zero the whole time (300 rounds)
