WASR does NOT. Those that do have been modified and aren't worth having.
SAR DO accept, factory built, and are wonderful rifles.

Eastwood how could you say such a horrible thing about those crappy hicap WASR10s?
I have both SAR1 & WASR10...
I bought the WASR10 high cap (wood forearm) for $100 rusty and used, cleaned it up, filed some more on the magwell, & painted it and now it's fully functional.

snatch up a sar-1 if you can for a decent price, the wasr supposedly isnt too bad, but you might have to work with the mag well a bit for a solid mag fit.

i just bought my second WASR10 today, and i think they are wonderful rifles, most WASR 10's you see are the hi-cap models. they were modified to accept hicaps by century arms and as long as you clean up the shavings century forgot to, they are fine, both of mine accept drums, i will say that they do have a little problem with the mags wiggling, this doesnt affect the functioning of the rifle at all. at the gun show today i saw a number of WASR10's and SAR1's,, WASR's with no bayonet lug or compensator were goin for around 295, with the bayo lug and slant compensator, 330, however the SAR's were like 500. i dont think it is worht the extra money since there is very very little difference.

the only problem with the sunset wars 10's i have seen is the crude bayonet lug , but this is just my 2 cents but otherwise they function fine and what a surprise you dont have to dremel anything to get a drum to fit

plenty of sar 1 hi cap AK 47 on ***********.com they come new ozzed in cosmoline I bought 4 sold 3 after a LOT of clean up work for lazy people or busy people for $799. all were Romanian SAR1 Dragunov style ....i paid $339 ea look into SKS's asa well damn good rifle and same cal as the AK 1000 rds will cost you $84......shoooooot em up!
