30 cal semi auto pistol
Anyone know of a manufacturer that makes the 30 cal (M1 Carbine) in a semi auto pistol. I know of the revolvers but am interested in the semi auto. Thanks

I've shot one and was pretty darned impressed. I never thought much of the 30 carbine as a cartridge until I shot the AMT. Seems to me that the hot little 30 was made with a longer barreled pistol like the Automag in mind because as a rifle cartridge it leaves alot to be desired and as a pitol round, moves that bullet REALLY FAST! It doesn't carry a whole lot of energy as a result of its' small cross-sectioal density, but as they say, speed kills! If you can, shoot the gun in a dimly lit range...the fireball is spectacular!

I used my AMTIII for silhouette for a while till I got a Contender! Impressive.
