Webley Air Pistols

A friend of the family had a Webley Air pistol in the early '60s. I was about 13 at the time but remember it as a very well made and relatively accurate. I remember steel and wood, no plastic. I searched the net and the Tempest Model is the most reminiscent of the pistol I remember, <http://www.airgunexpress.com/webleytempestairpistol104-09-2225.htm&gt; but it was much plainer. Does anyone know what this model might have been? I can't find a picture of it. There is a book available, "Webley Air Pistols: Their History and Development," by Gordon Bruce, but it's quite expensive and I can't get it through the library. Any Ideas?

    I have just aquired a air pistal.
    It has these markings.
    The Webley "junior".177
    Webley & Scott Ltd,Birmingham 4
    Made in England.

    The only numbers on it is 181
    Can anyone tell me about it and what it might worth

    If you go to the above auction, I think you see what you are looking for. There were many model, but most of them were basically the same. Until relatively recently, the major difference in the post war air pistol is that they went to a slanting grip.
