I have a SAXTON 12ga hammer gun. Anyone know any information such as where made and what years manufactured.[?][?]

  Looking for information on an English 12 Ga shotgun marked "SAXTON".
  Shotgun is a side by side with hammers. Duck scene on receiver. Ornate butt plate. Barrels are 34" long.

  Hickory,
  The SAXTON is strictly a utility shotgun that was manufactured
  in Belgium. The barrels will be damascus and unsafe to shoot.
  Made sometime late 1800's. Value is wall hanger.
