Steel mags bad for MAC's?

    i use the south african converted mags with no problem...they are very sloppy but function perfect...i think cobray is making guns now that take the sten mags which are metal.. tom

    Toolman is correct. I use grease gun mags in my M10. Never had any problem. Sounds like they want you to buy the mags they had in storage.

    Original Guns used steel mags, the Polymer (Zytel) mags were a later "innovation" and can split The are softer than the gun so I dont think they could "hurt" it but I

    Never heard of a problem caused by a metal mag in a MAC..I think the others are correct its a CYA..
