Winchester rimfires no more?

What's with this rumor about Winchester discontinuing rimfires after '05? Any truth to it? I've read it on the net twice now, but for the life of me I can't find where it was...[?]

    A Winchester Rep told me that the Henry lever 22's are putting
    the "Hurt" on Winchester 9422 sales and discontinuing is considered.
    Of course if the rumor does what they hope it will, the demand for the
    22's will increase sufficiently to "Postpone" those plans.
    Rumors such as this are always a good "Sales Tool"....................
    But, as I told a friend tonight--might as well get a couple to "put
    away".............Just in Case!!!

    Saw it in a distributors catalog yesterday. 9422's discontinued in 2005[:(]
