Mauser K98 barrel worth?

    It depends if you are buying or selling. Is this a new production item, like from Wilson or is it a old/new never installed barrel. Has it any sights or finish on it, if it does it probably isn't new just very good. Any which way if you are buying $35 isn't bad for a truely excellent barrel. If you are selling and it really is new, never installed then I'd be glad to give you $35 for it......

    I spent ten dollars on a used 98k barrel a few years back with sights, fair finish, VG but ever so slightly frosted bore... shoots much better than the one that was on the gun. But then, I installed it myself, using a freind's tools (and ever since have wanted some for myself!) and his supervision; if you do it yourself, it would cost a bit more.

    I think their take offs because they all have the battle sights on them. And they are 22inches parkerized wraped in cosomoline.
