    I've had mine for about 4 years and this will be the first time I clean it. I noiced the rail on top has come loose an wil locktite it down but thats it for now. Just gonna do a quick basic cleanning.

    I usually didn't clean the barrel of my Buckmark all that often. .22 ammo(most of it anyway) is self lubricating(coated) and really doesn't pose that much of a fouling problem in the barrel. I would use a Q tip and solvent and clean inside the action and especially around the breech end of the barrel and extractor recess and then very lightly oil with Break Free. I usually did not break it down further except at the end of the season. I shot mine in competition and never had a jam that I can remember with it. I let a young man have it and the last time I heard from him, he was still shooting it in competition.
