remington 720A

Anyone have an idea of the real value of a Rem. 720A in .270cal.? It is in pretty good shape but the stock needs to be refinished. It has been a hunters tool, not a showpiece.It has a Redfield scope 3X-9X with 4plex accu-trac 200-600, a range finder kind of thing I think.I'm asking for the real value because I never see one in any of the gun sites or auctions. I think it falls in the 80-90% bracket. thanks

  I agree with Mike. The great majority of them I've seen for sale have been Presentation pieces from the navy to winners of target matches. Virtually all of these have been in mint condition. Its value in the condition as you describe is as a hunting rifle.
