P7M8 Problem
I have a frustrating problem with my P7M8. Considering how long I saved for one and how much it cost I'm just a little mad
I contacted H&K via e-mail a month ago....I guess they are too busy.
It's nearly new, I would buess it hasn't had over 100 rounds through it. I took it to the range twice and shot maybe 30 rounds each time. Cleaned it per the instruction manual each time.
I took it out a month ago and the slide keeps sticking to the rear after a round is fired. I tired two differnt brands of ammo and two different mags. same problem. I'm also able to reproduce the problem by just pulling the slide as back as far as it will go. It sticks like it's tapered or somthing.
Hopefully it's my fault and not the weapon's. I would like to rely on it but can't.
Whadya think?

The slide will lock back with the magazine removed? Sounds like a fitting problem and I would send it back to HK and have them look at it. You are right, they are pricey pistols and should function correctly. How is the gas piston? Is it clean? Are there any noticeable burrs on the slide rails? Is the slide properly lubricated with a good quality lube?

no burrs, piston is clean and dry, slide lubed with outers and RIG.

Send it to HK, you spent around $1000 for the pistol, for that money, you want something that is 100%!
