    the OR guns were made in 1960 depending on condition and if it has a choke added or pad 225.00 low end 600.00 high end

    Slayer - Welcome to the forum - I guess the "O" is a "zero" as opposed to a letter O and indicates 1960. As for the "R" I believe that means it is a standard model. The Sweet 16 would have an "S" prefixing the serial number that year. If it is a "Sweet Sixteen" it should have a goldplated trigger and bear the engraving "Sweet Sixteen" on the port side of the receiver - the side of the receiver opposite the ejection port.

    Lt12 - Does that "R" indicate the shotgun is not a "Sweet 16" but rather a "Standard" model? And if so, do you know whether the barrels will interchange? I have gotten some contradictory info in this regard recently.
