superposed?
I've seen quite a few o/u's with this in the description/model name. What does it mean and why are superposed guns so expensive? Is it the firearms equivalent of "fahrvergnugen?"

superposed means one on top of another. the superposed shotgun was invented back in the 30's by john browning and his line of belgian made shotguns were called the browning superposed. they were fine arms and still are. what makes superosed guns so expensive is mastering the art of making both bbls bend to meet each other at the end while being flush in the middle. getting the bbls shot patterns to cross at a specified distance is what makes superposed shotguns so expensive to make.
