Shotgun question. HEALP PLEASE!
I got a remington 870 with a 20 inch barrel. Got a mag extension And it sticks out from the end of the barrel about an inch and a half. Will this hurt the extension if I shoot it. Thanks

I would think it would hurt, but I'm no expert. I would think that it(slug or even shot, at a tight pattern at that point)[8D] would clear, but I wouldn't want to find out.

i have one that sticks out about an inch ,and never even noticed powder on it
i was watching a three gun compitition a few days ago ,and some of those guys had what apeared to be extensions sticking out about five or six inches ,looked very odd

it will not hurt it. think it out, they stick bayonets on shotguns and it doesnt hurt them either.
