Savage model 6 info
I have a Savage model 6 DL-M. Cannot find any info in Blue book or Krause. Has 20" barrelw/ full lenght mag tube, fold down rear site anpost front with hood. Pistol grip stock with Monte-Carlo cheekpiece. Nice borderline chekering on forend and pistol grip. Swivel studs and shiny black ribbed buttplate with white line spacer. Also has shell deflector installed. The stock is a fine piece of wood with rosewood forend cap. Gun has to be near mint. Hard to believe this is a Savage., more like maybe a Weatherby. Any info, comments an values are appreciated. Thanx Ibtrukn

Thanx for the replies BUT this is NOT the run-of-the-mill model 6. Not even close. Stamped rite on the barrel Savage Model 6DL-M. And nobody has any info on this particular model. It is VERY sharp and anyone who likes Savage stuff wood like this, me included. Beats W and Rem any day, they just be names. Thanx again IB
