Winchester Model 70 Carbine

I just got a Model 70 carbine in 30.06 with a serial # of 174XXXX. I think it's post '81. Are these pretty common to come by and about how much are they worth? This one's about 99% and in near-perfect condition.

  I have a Model 70 Carbine SN# G1659### that I am interested in selling. But I can't find a price in the Blue Book. It is in excellent condition with a few very minor dents in the wood, one quarter inch square spot where the bluing is worn through at the end of muzzle (not on crown), and one rust spot on the action just ahead of the where the bolt locks down. It has a Burris 2X-7X scope with a Burris mount. The bore is in excellent condition with sharp lands and groves. I found with the search feature one in 85% condition in '91 that he was told would be worth about $300. Can anyone enlighten me please?
