Hornady Ballistics for Black Powder
I currently shoot a .50 Cal Knight Revolution and have worked up a SUPERB load using a Hornady .430 XTP Jacketed Hollow Point 240 grain bullet and either two 50 grain Pyrodex pellets or 100 grains of Triple seven powder. Where would I find ballistics for a load like this? I am wondering re: velocities, energy and bullet drop and cannot find ballistics for this load. I'm looking for info out to 200 yards. This load is literally a "tack driver" consistantly breaking the same hole at 100 yards in 3 shot groups swabbing the bore after each group. Anyone got any information on a load like this. It is actually the same bullet I load in .44 mag. Thanks

Post your actual MV and we can give a fairly detailed answer. Without it, all anyone can do is guess. Along with the MV, other helpfull information that can be used to refine the results would be altitude, barametric pressure, humidity, C-C distance between the barrel and the scope, etc.

If you look in the little plastic box the bullets come in there is a little brochure in there that has the ballistics.
I shoot the 250 XTP, very accurate for me also, not as good as yours, though. Good deer killer.
Looking at my chart, it is also gives ballistics for the 240.
Look in there and see if you have that chart, if not, I will post the chart from my brochure.0 -
MV Muzzle Velocity
I could give you what my TC Encore does with 3 50gr Pyrodex pellets and the same bullet, but that's not going to help you. The charts mentioned are close, but is your actual MV the same as what the chart shows?

147.8 yard Zero, Max ordinate 3.00" @ 84.4yd, -3.0 @ 172.3yd, sight in +2.84" @ 100yd.
