    got this BAR in the shop. here is my problem....
    the gas piston is STUCK in the cylinder. i have soaked it in kroil for a week,applied heat,tried two bolts with coupling nut to force it out, cussed, prayed and it is still STUCK. [:0]
    ANY SUGGESTIONS???

    Or, for about $2,500, you can get a remanufactured one that is semi-automactic only.

    I have one of the semi-auto versions of the BAR. I can fire it almost as fast as the full-auto guns when they are set on the slower rate of fire.

    I bought it a couple years ago with no more paperwork than a regular rifle. Its not an AW so is still legal here in Cal, they just removed the flash hider.
