When buying guns, always remember: It's alot easier to get forgiven than it is to get permission!

I have the goldenboy and the blued and the henry pump. All 3 are very smooth actions and quite accurate.[:)]

Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath?

I think the only differences is the Brass reciever, Sights, and the Goldenboy is a bit smoother.

Something I've wondered about these Henry's. They state the receiver is a Brasslite receiver. Is the solid Brass, plated steal or what? I've noticed that all the companies that produce blackpowder revolvers always charge less for brass models than the steal ones. Tooling cost and finishing cost should be lower if the receiver is in fact solid brass.
    Confused

    Brasslite (Email from HRA)

Alloy that is polished, plated and protective coating is added. Extremely durable finish.

I'd definitely agree those Henrys are some of the prettiest .22's out there. Almost bought a large-loop Golden Boy, but it just didn't feel right to me. Attempting to find the sight line seemed a little awkward - too high - probably simply because I'm used to the 39A. Sure wouldn't turn one down as a Christmas gift...[:D]

Thanks for all your help. I'm looking to get one for my son to replace his dirt bike.. He doesn't really have any place to ride.
