German Caplock ID

I have a German caplock marked as follows: H.G.Cordes in Bremerhaven on the right side of the lock. Guss=Stahl Lauf on the barrel. All I can find is Cordes manufactured powder and swivel guns in the 19th century. It has an octogon barrel with an adjustable rear site and sling swivels. Anyone know anything else?
