Meriden mod. 10
This is another gun I bought yesterday at the show. A nice little Meriden .22 cal. rolling block. The guy I bought it from said it was made by Hopkins and Allen. I can't find a cross ref on this one either. H&A made several models of rolling block .22s ... Any idea which H&A model this is.

According to Jim Perkins (American Boys' Rifles 1890-1945); Sears, Roebuck and Co. started Meriden in 1902 due to Winchester's refusal to manufacture rifles with a "store" name on it. It did quite well and ultimately produced 4 models until 1916 when it sold all of it's equipment and got out of the firearms manufacturing business. 0
