double barrel over & over muzzleloader ?
I just acquired about 24 double barrel muzzleloader barrels in 45 and 50 cal with rifled bores, made by Loven-Pierson from Appalachin N.Y.,,these were designed to shoot ,turn the barrel 180 degrees and shoot again,,does anyone have any history on this company or any other company's that made these ? ,,they are very nicely built,with rifle sights and octagon barrels,,any help is appreciated,,,,JIM

I've seen similar models at the Art Institute of Chicago (Yes, guns in Chicago, doesn't that beat all?). You might be able to find out something from them, but I wouldn't count on it.
