Anyone have this reloader?

Do you like it, is it worth the money? Is it good for someone just starting to reload? I'll reload 308,270win and 45/70.

  I've used Lee presses for more than 30 years and highly recommend them. If you can follow instructions then the Pro 1000 is OK for a beginner, but to start you absolutely should only use it in manual mode and double check each step. There is no question that it will be tougher to master than a simple press, but in the long run, if you end up doing a lot of loading, it sure can save time while producing quality reloads.

  When I began reloading, I boght a used RCBS single stage press. It came with about 8 different die sets and lots of components. I still use the same press today and put out my loaded rounds one ata a time...no need to rush. It also gave me an excuse to buy some new rifles for which I now had the die sets.

  The lee pro 1000 can't be used to load those cabilers.Its for pistol and small rifle cartridges.
