$450 - $550, Colt Woodsman is better looking and worth more; S&W 41 is a better gun. Personally I like the Victor, but I'd rate it behind the 41 and Woodsman. 0 -
Hello are you sure it is a slant grip victor? these were all special order and worth good money. See if BOBSKI wants to debate last poster. OLD HICKORY thats what makes the world go around if you put on this sight I will bid and I think I know at least 3 other people who will also quote:"PRAISE THE HARDBALL GUN" 0 -

can you send me a pic of it?
sounds to me like you have a parts gun. describe the grips in detail too. what are the first 3 digits of the serial number? btw...i dont like the victors either, in comparision to the open breech models. (less malfunctions)0 -
Bobski you got it right again date is ok but Frame should be groved both front and back . If you get Pics I would like to see them to compare with mine. But what slide could they use mil grip slide has different rear contour and all other slope grip slides would have a rear sight except space gun. 0 -
it is a common practice to mill down a slant grip slide to fit under the victor rib to fool the unwise. lettering is the giveaway. ALL real slant grips had block lettering on the slide. ALL eagle logo guns were italisized. in 73, the only slant grip still being made was the sharpshooter, thus the sharpshooter became the thieves choice to butcher to make a slant grip victor lookalike and pass it off as real. the DEAD giveaway was that the sharpshooter didnt have the SEAR ADJUSTMENT feature in the back of the frame OR an adjustable trigger backlash screw. if his gun has a case colored trigger and if its missing the sear adjustment, he has a fake slant grip on a sharpshooter frame. since anyone could change out triggers, the REAL only way to tell is by t h e lack of sear adjustment. EVEN if a gunsmith added the sear...i can still tell if its a fake by the serial number and by 2 other ways that are trade secrets.[;)] 0 -
Here is the serial number MILITARY 2442454X- I can take pics but can some one host them for me? - Thanks Iowa 0 -

it says military. its NOT A SLANT GRIP VICTOR. it just a plain victor. all frames with the words military on them are designed after the 1911A1 frame. 244 is too late for a real slant grip victor. slant grip victors were made around 239 to 241. 0 -
