Tasco Custom Shop scope...need advice.

I am considering buying a 8x40x56 Tasco custom shop scope w/the large side focus wheel on the side. The seller says it has a duplex reticle but is unsure as to the thickness. I am looking for thin crosshairs for benchin' only. Does anyone know if this scope was offered w/a thin and thick duplex reticles or only one or the other? Thanks

  I don't know the answer to your question, but......Tasco is no longer in business. The name is still in use by Bushnell, but they only service scopes that they sold.
  
  Unless you are getting this at a great price, & you are happy with the scope as is, & you don't mind throwing it away if you have problems......you might want to consider another make.
