Just bought a Mossberg SSi-one and has about an 8 pound trigger pull. Does anyone know of any manufacturers that make a trigger for this or know how to reduce this pull?

read about them and looked at them but have never owned one , I do know from talking to different gun shops that they don't sell very well , I have never heard any thing bad about them but it does seem that they just never was very well liked for some reason

well what gskyhawk said is true...they did not sell well...that doesn't mean they are not good...the quality is excellent..the wood is real nice and the crowns on the barrels are done very well..i have a .243 and .308 and have only shot the .243..they are a little stiff when you first get them...you can find very good deals on these..they started out at around $350 and i have seen them recently for under $200 which puts them in the nef class and they are alot better than those..fit finish and shootability..my .243 will shoot atleast 1" at 100yds and maybe better.. tom

I looked at one in .223 back when this particular shop was asking around $500(about a year ago).Very nice, but VERY HEAVY(approaching 9lb.)!I went with the NEF w/bull bbl.and haven't regretted it.
