Russian 12 gauge steel case ammo
I saw this Russian seamless steel case 12 gauge ammo on Sportsmans Guide. Has anyone trid it? What kind of primer does it have? It says non-reloadable but is that so, if you have reloaded brass cases couldn't you reload these? Is there another source for them besides The Guide?

I have some of this ammo available. It is not readily reloadable as it uses berdan priming. With the correct berdan primers and some effort they could be reloaded, but it isn't very practical to do so.

Reloading steel cases is a pain in the arse, and IMHO isn't worth the effort. If you want to tinker with steel cases, pick up a box of Estates and use a hand set, cause resizing dies aren't tough enough to work steel.
That being said, welcome to the club.
