Which of the 2 following Simmons scopes has a higher value-- the Simmons ProHunter or the Simmons Whitetail? Thanks in advance!

    THE PROHUNTER IS NOT ONE OF SIMMONS BETTER EFFORTS , YOU WOULD BETTER OFF WITH OPEN SIGHTS . THE WHITETAIL,44MAG, AND AETEC ARE ALL DESCENT PERFORMERS . PERSONALLY THE AETEC IS THE BEST VALUE SIMMONS OFFERS , GOOD EYE-RELIEF, CLARITY,LIGHT TRANSMISSION AND A GREAT FIELD OF VIEW . THE AETEC IS COMPAC AND MAY REQUIRE EXTENSION RINGS ON SOME RIFLES BECAUSE OF THE SHORT TUBE BETWEEN TURRETS AND OBJECTIVE .
    CHECK ONE OUT IF YOU HAVEN'T .

    I currently own an older 44 mag 2x7 scope and it is pretty good quality.
    A hunting friend uses the Whitetail on his .270 and is very plesed with it.
    I bought a 6mm recently that came with a ProHunter 6x18x40 scope on it and so far i like it fine.
    But if the rifle had not come with it i doubt i would have bought that particular scope to put on it though.
