age and value

I own a double barrel 16 guage shotgun. On top of the barrel it has Stoeger Arms Corporation Made In Spain. Underneath the forearm it has the number 151499 and 21187. I'm not sure if this is a serial# or model# or both. It also has other #'s stamped on the inside. IT has 16.5 stamped on both barrels. It has the word choke, doesn't specefi y full or modified. Underneath the word choke it has the #'s 16.2 and 16.8 stamped on both barrels. I would like to know the age and value of this gun if someone could help. Thank you

    Clay...could be wrong, but believe the number 21187 is the date of manufacture...Jan. 21, 1987. I have a couple of foreign pieces (Spanish and Italian) and both of them have a serial number followed by another number. Europeans have a tendency to put the day, then the month, then the year.

    If I'm wrong on this, I will be corrected! LOL
