    Hello Jim...

It is worth somewhere between $100 - $200 as a mantle/wall decoration. Do NOT shoot it with ANY modern made 12 gauge shells.

Your old scattergun was imported into the U.S.A. sometime between 1890 - 1913, it has shorter than currently standard chambers (most likely 2-5/8"), and most importantly, it was made for BLACKPOWDER shells. If you try shooting modern smokeless powder shells in it, you run a very good chance of blowing the barrels out right at the chamber. Some (but not many) of those old damascus barreled scatterguns can be safely shot if they are in good condition (no pitts in the bores), and proper low pressure loads are handloaded for them.

Jim, What Bert said! There are 2 other options some have been doing, using sub gauge tubes, or having sub gauge liners soldered in the barrels. Have a qualified gunsmith check it out to see if the gun can handle them.
