beretta 950 jetfire

Someone I know is looking to part with a Beretta 950 Jetfire in 25 auto. It was made in Italy and is at least 20 years old and it the old style with no safety. What is it worth?

    I'd offer about $100.00 to $125.00 and that would be about it.

    I don't think I can do that. He has the original receipt from 1982 and it went for $150 then.

    In the past few years I've sold several of them. They commonly run $140-165. Depending on condition, they can be as low as $125, but usually the will be in the $150 range, give or take. If it is really nice with box, papers, extra mags, etc. it might be closer to $200, but that would definitely be on the high side.

    I've bought two -- both chambered in 22 short -- in the past two years from retail dealers (as opposed to private individuals) and paid around $150 each. One was in "good" condition, the other is in like new condition.

    Not all guns appreciate in value ,this is one of them ,he over paid at 150.00 twenty years ago ,it is used and old ,and not very wanted in today's market ,with the .25 being the weakest caliber available ,100.00 bucks only because it is a Beretta
