AK-47 'pin-on' muzzle break question....

    I suggest you look into having the barrel threaded. Try this site out.

    You could always have a gunsmith or a machine shop do it. They will do it right. Usually on a lathe.

    Yeah, it's a Romanian. It would be nice if they'd let you know that in the auction description. I'd like it threaded but I don't really want to spend the extra money on this if I can make this pin on work. Do you think I could cut out a portion on the bottom of this thing that matches the top so it would slide around the piece under the barrel? I don't know why it wouldn't work.

    Yes, it would probably work fine. Be sure to measure & cut short of goal and file to fit. Then re-blue. BTW the pin on FSB is one way. Don't kill yourself and the barrel by hammer too much. Barrels do not like hammers.
