Reloading Question???

Any body got a good Acc. load fer a 45 long colt????
I bought a used Ruger Blk Hawk, And am going to start working up a load fer it, with Cast lead slug's. Unique powder looks good, Is their some thing better fer it????? Thanks fer any replys.

  Unique works fine for me.
  If you want to shoot heavier loads try 2400.
  8 grs of Unique and a cast bullet is a good fun or plinking everyday load .

  Thanks Cole[:D], But that 2400 is so Dirty, I stoped useing it years ago.

  With heavy loads, be sure to use a gas check.

  Check out this link. Many loads for many cartridges. Loads are available for all powders from the major manufacturers.

  The best I have found is 6.2 gr TiteGroup Hodgdon with a 250 gr cast bullet.
