Sig Sauer P226 questions
Hi,
I'm currently in the market to buy my first handgun. All that I have seen about the Sig Sauer 9mm has been very positive. I was trying to get some more experienced opinions on the quality of the gun. If anyone has had negative or positive experiences, please let me know. Also, if you think there is a better choice of guns, please let me know and why. Also, please let me know what the going price for a new and used Sig are. Last, what modifications are worth investing in for the Sig, or whatever gun is being suggested.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

They are extremely well made, very reliable, and accurate. Sigs have a lifetime warrenty except pre-owned models which only have a one year warrenty. The Sig P-226 is the main Law Enforcement sidearm. Alot of departments that carried Glocks now carry the Sig.[8D] 0 -

I own a Sig P220 45acp and I love it. I have nothing negative to say at all. The only mod I made was getting the rubber pacmyer grips instead of the stock plastic ones that come with it. 0 -
I have the 226 and the 220.
Nothing negative here, and can't suggest a better sidearm.
Just make sure it "fits" your hand.
