star 9 mm
Does anyone know if the star 9mm hand guns are any good, my friend has one and it is fun to shoot, but the firing pin broke. Any one know where I can find a new one.

The star model M full size, and the star model BM compact,
are some very sturdy handguns. One downfall was a very hard
fireing pin. This made it prone to breakage when DRY FIRED.
Based on John Brownings 1911 Pat. the pistol has seen use
in the Spanish Mil. and civ. police dept's. I can make you
a replacement correctly hardened at the tip and tempered
at the head. I have many of the mod. B and mod BM's and
have only had great service from the ones I shoot.

I have a Model B thats been around since 1945.
I's not pretty but a good reliable shooter
