Is there collectors Value Western Field 600
I know the Western Field 600 in Remington 878 12 gauge only made 9,000 in the 60"s . I know it is the only run of guns Remington has ever made and put someone elses name on. So my question is does this have a Collectors value? Thanks in Advance- iowa

being the 878 was just a prototype for the 1100, and since it was only made in field grade, and that its a subcontract gun, id say no. 0 -
Possibly it might (I said might)interest a Remington Collector as a conversation piece.[:)]

no way, not with a western field stamped on it. the 878's are still plentiful and can be had for under 300.00. 0 -
It's a shooter
MOLON LABE!
An evil tree bears evil fruit. You can destroy as much fruit as you want, but it will always grow back, and it will always be evil.
Tear the tree out of the ground by the roots and burn it. Burn it to ash and grind out the embers with your boot until there's nothing left. Not a single spark. Not a single seed.0 -
None of the department store named firearms, but any of the makers has generated significant collector interest. All are sold as shooters only, so whatever the market will bear is what you will get. Seldom over a couple of hundred for shotguns. 0
