.40 Super, ANYONE???

Anybody have one? Can anyone tell me how this cartridge stacks up against say 10mm. I'd like to see some ballistics tables on it as well. Just curious. I ran accross a 1911 race gun a while back in .40 super and I don't know what got me thinking about it at the moment.

  My understanding of the round is that it is simply a 38 super rim on a 40 s&w case. It allow you to install a 40 S&W barrel on a 38 super slide.
