Old Ruger Bearcat
I have an old Ruger Bearcat with a bear on it. The trigger area is gold. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much it is worth. Please email me at liltnlady@aol.com

The trigger guard is brass, not gold. Value depends upon the serial # & the condition.
If you go to the Gunbroker homepage, you can click on Smart Search. Look for bids placed on similar guns within the last 90 days under the Completed tab.

As Neal said it depends on serial number and condition.
If the ser # is under 30000 and in "good" cond about $225.00 in "very good" cond about $300.00.
With ser # over 30000 or with a 90- prefix in "good" cond about $265.00 and in "very good" cond $300.00.
If it has a letter in the serial number, then a little more. The trigger guards on the early bearcats were a brass "colored" anodized alloy, not gold or brass.

Thanks Joe. The serial number has a 90- prefix and the gun is in very good condition.
