    Probably the reason is that they were made with different specs. Look on the Glock website and you'll see the different specs. Why the he!! would you want to hurt yourself anyway.

    I took it into the gunshop today and the problem was solved. It was refinished into olive drap and the coating of paint right around where the barrel sits into was keeping it from going all the way in. I had no idea that it was the finish, it was rubbed off and fit right in, works great.
