Rock Island Opinions Wanted Please

My friend who is a gundealer/gunsmith thought they were POS because they were cheap, well Ellett Brothers talked him into one for testing purposes. He was surprised by the overall quality of these pistols. We took it apart and put the parts on a Colt frame and slide, all the parts were a perfect fit. The Rock Island is made out of 4140 steel which most blued or parkerized 1911A1s are. We took it out to the range to see if it would shoot as good as it looked, and it shot better. We put FMJ, HP, and wadcutter ammo through it without any problems. I rate this as a best buy if you wan't a good 1911A1 but don't plan on shooting alot. I feel this pistol will last atleast 50,000rds!!![8D][8D]
