45 ACP Head Stamp
I recently came across 2 pieces of 45ACP brass with the following headstamp. Win NT 45 AUTO
It had a crimped primer. Would anyone have any info on this? Thanks.

I think this stands for "NON TOXIC" has no exposed lead on the projectal. NOTE I dont think winchester wants you to reload the case THUS the crimped primer . quote:"PRAISE THE HARDBALL GUN" 0 -
Winchester only makes the NT primer in small pistol. The cases can be reloaded, but I don't really recommend it. It is easier to sort them out than to specially prime them with a small primer. I use the 9mm cases that are NT all the time though. If I had a lot of the 45 NTs I might give reloading a try. 0 -
Thanks for the info. only have 2 of them, so will just add them to the cartridge collection. 0
