    Hello[:)]

First of all --- please allow me to welcome you to the forum.

Secondly -- you did not give me much to work with -- I must assume -- unless you tell me differently -- that "she" is a side-by-side with double triggers and does NOT have screw-in chokes.

One: Angelo Zoli's are no longer in production. They went under in 1987. I have Angelo Zoli's over/unders but not SXS's. Because of several factors -- not the least of which Angelo Zoli's are no longer made and parts are not that commonly available, they are not popular shotguns.

Two: Angelo Zoli's have a cocking mechanism that will allow the shotgun to "rattle", which does not inspire confidence. However -- if you have a shell up the "spout" and the safety is off -- it will go "bang" everytime.

Three: 16 gauge European shotguns do NOT have 75 mm chambers. A 2-3/4 shotshell will fit into it --- BUT it creates an over-pressure situation and make it kick like a mule. You can buy 70 mm European shells, but they are an "order" process not an available at "K-mart/Sears" or "Wal-Mart".

Four: If this shotgun has been passed down to you from your "DAD", you should keep it because it was "HIS". If you are interested as to an insurance value, it is NOT worth worrying about. Replacement value is at or less than $300.
