    Hello John,

I am not aware of anyone who makes the handguard style stock for the Model 1895. Precision makes the traditional style stocks for many of the Winchester models, but there is very little demand for the militarty style handguard stocks.

By "replacement rear sight" I assume you mean that you want one that is a repro of the original? If so and again, there is very little demand for that particular sight, so nobody makes them that I am aware of.

Buffalo Arms in Sand Point Id. has the Smith Enterprise 1895 Win. Carbine rear sight repros, and some one, maybe Boyds, is making upper hand guards for Krags, if memory serves, these will suffice for the 1895 Win. I see that Numrich/Gun parts is selling them.

    Hello Bert and Jody,
Yes Bert, I'm looking for the "military type" ladder sight for these carbines. They are going for $250.00+ on the auctions, when you can find them. I don't know if I want to invest that much additional.

Jody, I checked Buffalo Arms, but they do not have the sight that I need. I have a friend that is into Krag's, I'll check with him and see how the hand guard from a krag looks. I really don't think that I want a krag top wood on my Winchester's., it seems kind of sacrilegious.
I have e-mailed both Buffalo and Boyd's with questions.
Thank you both for your input.
