info needed on a cutom shop Rem 700 220 swift

    More than likely they have a 1:14 twist barrel finished at either 24" or 26". They probably have no custom parts. The custom shop rigs usually use the starighter actions and barrels that come off the line. They generally shoot better than the standard BDL models. I assume yours has the wood stock with the black forend and grip cap? or does it have a laminated stock or composite stock?

    A pard of mine has a 300winmag KS and it shoots better than it should. He shot this box stock rifle, at my request, at a 600yd match,..and with 165gr NBT's and RL19 it went an average of 7.5" at 600yds for 3 relays shooting in the wind with no gunsmithing work and his scope was turned down to 16x due to mirage.

    My 700rem VSSF in 220 swift is NASTY on paper. It will go into the .2's and .1"s when I do my part. I would say you have a real shooter there. Value from the books makes it at ~$450-$550

    why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
