model 64-5 3in. s/s heavy bbl. round butt bobbed hammer 38 spec. s.n. bfz95--.
above the model # 64-5 is ny-1
what does ny-1 stand for ???

  NY-1's were produced to NYPD specs and authorized for use by NYPD officers, who have to buy their own duty gun. They were made with 3 and 4 inch barrels. Both had round butts and bobbed hammers. I believe they are double action only.
