While they may resemble each other ,they are no alike ,the ap-9 is much thinner ,and actually has a sight you can use ,and is not prone to being a jamo-matic like the intratec

You will never hear me speak a good word about a tec-9 ,have owned four ,each time thinking this one will work ,stupid me

I have shot the Tec-9 and wasent impressed. I have an AP-9 and it is alot of fun for a $200 gun. The only problem I has was the bbl comming loose and so it wouldnt feed right. A little loctight on the threds fixed that. My buddy has one to and he has had no problems with his.

What about costs.... should that make the decision any easier? For example, would one be less expensive to buy than the other? Or buy HiCap mags for? Or parts?

They are both about the same in price and mags. Do a search for them on the main GB site and see.
